Should I sing for them ?

Today my sister saw a poster outside our village which says:

I would really love to join this singing contest but I'm aware of what can happen to the people who will hear my voice. I miss singing in front of many people so I think I will give this opportunity a try =) ..

I won't think of anything bad that might happen to the audience when they hear my beautiful voice blast in their ears when I start to sing. x) 

Anyways, what do you think of this ? Should I join ?
